Description
This perennial onion lasts longer than a single season! This variety is super versatile as you can use it like a spring onion when young, or let it grow into a full-sized white onion. It takes up minimal space and is easy to grow. Despite its name, it has no Welsh connection and is popular in Asian cooking.
Plant directly in the garden in late winter or spring, in a sunny spot with a little compost. Thin out the seedlings to 15 cm apart. To keep your supply going strong, divide the clumps and replant them.
