fischersund is a family-run artistic perfumery based in Reykjavik, Iceland, where scent, art, and nature converge into a singular sensory experience. Founded by siblings Jónsi—of the iconic Icelandic band Sigur Rós—alongside Lilja, Ingibjörg, and Sigurrós, and run with their partners Sindri and Kjartan, the brand operates from a historic black house at Fischersund 3, once Jónsi's music studio.
This creative hub is now home to a perfumery where vegan fragrances are handcrafted using Icelandic herbs and botanicals sustainably harvested from the wild. Jónsi, the brand's 'nose', taught himself the art of perfumery, channeling his love of music, art, and the Icelandic landscape into each scent. The result is a collection of fragrances that feel as elemental and otherworldly as Iceland itself.
