Description
These beautiful dishes are crafted from Seto porcelain, also known as samba tachikui pottery, holding a legacy of over 850 years. The Tamba kiln, one of Japan’s six ancient kilns, has been used since the Heian period and is still run to this day by two generations of artisans.
Pinewood ash from the kiln naturally fuses with the clay and glaze during firing, giving the finish a unique tactile texture.
