Japanese Sockmaking Since 1950.
Founded in 1950, Nishiguchi Kutsushita is a third-generation Japanese sock manufacturer known for its precision, softness, and enduring quality. Socks are produced on vintage knitting machines, manually adjusted by skilled artisans and mechanics to maintain the brand’s signature balance of structure and lightness.
Guided by a philosophy of “making your day extraordinary,” the brand combines tactile refinement with understated design. Each pair is crafted from responsibly sourced natural fibres—wool, silk, cotton, or fibre blends—resulting in socks that are as beautiful to wear as they are to behold. At Handcrafted Modern, we offer a curated range of their most timeless styles in soft colour palettes and plush, breathable textures.
