Lauren Hunt is an artist and educator with over 17 years of experience in glassblowing, known for her exquisite, balanced creations that merge vibrant colour with sleek form. After earning a BFA with a focus on glass from Virginia Commonwealth University, she launched her career at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York state, participating in the renowned Hot Glass Show and the Blow Glass at Sea program aboard Celebrity Cruise ships. These voyages were among the travels that have infused her artistic voice with global influences. Now based in Aotearoa, Hunt practices as a glass fabricator, instructor and creator of works displayed in galleries across the United States and Europe, continuing to expand the possibilities of her discipline.
