Woven in Japan from 100% organic cotton, this Shinto 2.5 Ply Gauze Bath Towel is developed through a specialised layered weaving technique focused on comfort and performance. Instead of a traditional three ply gauze, the middle layer is woven at half weight using fine 20 count cotton yarn, reducing bulk while maintaining absorbency.

An irregular gauze weave gives the towel its soft, flexible hand feel and allows air to circulate easily, resulting in excellent quick drying properties. Subtle variation between the warp and weft dye creates depth of colour and a more natural, dimensional texture.
